‘SON reaches 300 PL appearances’…Tottenham-Riverpool reveal starting line-ups

Tottenham Hotspur “Captain” Son Heung-min will start against Liverpool as he continues his quest for a third consecutive 10-goal, 10-assist season in the league.

Liverpool and Tottenham will meet in the 36th round of the 2023-2024 English Premier League (EPL) season at 12:30 a.m. on June 6 at Anfield in Liverpool, Merseyside, England.

This season, the two teams have been in a fierce rivalry. Liverpool are fighting for the title, while Tottenham are fighting for a UEFA Champions League spot. Liverpool’s recent form has kept them away from the Premier League title. The Reds have won one, drawn one, and lost two of their last four league games and are in third place with 22 wins, nine draws, and four losses for 75 points.

They are eight points behind first-place Arsenal and seven points behind second-place Manchester City. In effect, the title is out of reach with three league games left. Liverpool has already won one trophy this season. The Reds beat Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley Stadium in February.

They were also highly motivated. Liverpool’s manager, Jürgen Klopp, has decided to step down after years of leading the Reds to glory. In January, Klopp announced his resignation on the club’s official website, saying that he would be taking a break next season.

The Liverpool squad did everything they could to go out on a high note in Klopp’s final season in charge, but it came up short. The Reds were knocked out in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Europa League by Atalanta and lost to Manchester United in the quarterfinals of the FA Cup. The only thing left to play for is the league, but even that is very unlikely to be won.

Tottenham, on the other hand, must win this game. Spurs have already been knocked out of the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup early on, so they’re far from the title. At the start of the season, they were top of the league under manager 카지노 Ange Postecoglou, but a thin squad has seen them slip away from the title and they are now competing for a Champions League spot.

Tottenham is currently in 5th place. With 18 wins, 6 draws, 10 losses, and 60 points, they are six points behind fourth-place Aston Villa. Villa host Brighton & Hove Albion in round 36 on May 5 at 10:00 p.m. If Villa wins that game, the race for Champions League tickets is effectively over.

For Tottenham, they need to win against Liverpool, hoping for a Villa defeat. The catch is their recent form. Spurs are currently on a three-game losing streak. They were thrashed 0-4 by Newcastle United on March 13, and went down on their knees 2-3 in the North London derby against Arsenal.

To make matters worse, they failed to take all three points in their first game this month. Spurs lost 0-2 on the road against Chelsea in the league, dropping further and further out of the Champions League race. If they don’t win tonight’s game, they’ll be killing their own chances of qualifying for the Champions League.

The key player for Tottenham is undoubtedly Son Heung-min. He has 16 goals and nine assists in 31 Premier League games this season. He is the team’s top scorer and top assister. If he adds another assist tonight, it will be the third time in his Premier League career that he has scored at least 10 goals and provided at least 10 assists.

The home team, Liverpool, deployed a 4-3-3 formation. Alisson-Alexander-Arnold-Virgin van Dijk-Jarel Kwansa-Andrew Robertson-Wataru Endo-Alexis McAllister-Harvey Elliot-Louis Dias-Kodi Gakpo-Mohamed Salah started up front.

The visitors went with a 4-2-3-1 formation. Guglielmo Vicario, Pedro Foro, Christian Romero, Micky van der Vaan, Emerson Royal, Rodrigo Bentancur, Yves Bissouma, Pape Sarr, Brennan Johnson, Dejan Kulusebski, and Son Heung-min will start.
