Jamsil Bee Dalgul ‘Elorashiko’, 22nd Wilkerson-Jeong-Yong Lee to start…Variable is rain forecast?

The Lotte Giants and LG Twins, who have always attracted attention with their heated and dramatic games, are set to play “El Rascico” at Jamsil Baseball Stadium.

The Korea Baseball Organization 현금홀덤사이트 announced the starting pitchers for each of the 10 clubs for the first game of the three-game midweek series on Nov. 22.

Seventh-ranked Lotte, which has had a “roller coaster” season with three straight losses after winning three in a row last week, and league-leading LG face off in a midweek three-game series, and both teams will start Aaron Wilkerson and Lee Jung-yong, respectively.

Wilkerson has quickly integrated himself into the team and the league, going at least five innings in every game since his KBO debut. His season record is 2-0 with a 2.12 ERA in five games and 29⅔ innings pitched, giving Lotte their most reliable card in the first game of the series.

Lee Jung-yong has been on a roll as he fought off stiff competition to secure a spot in the five-man rotation. Lee has pitched five or more innings in three consecutive games, and in his last outing against the Samsung Lions in Daegu on April 16, he threw six innings of one-hit ball with one strikeout and two walks to pick up his fifth win of the season with a quality start.

This season, LG has won or tied every game against every team they’ve faced, with a 6-5 record against Lotte. It remains to be seen if LG, looking to accelerate towards the 70-win mark, will maintain their momentum or if Lotte, looking to break into the mid-table, will fight back.

However, the variable is ‘rain’. According to the Korea Meteorological Administration’s forecast, rain is expected to fall at Jamsil Baseball Stadium from the morning of the 22nd to the morning of the 25th. Especially on the morning of the 23rd, there is an 80% chance of precipitation, so there is a possibility that both teams will make changes to their starting rotations depending on the game schedule.

The second-place KT Wiz will host the sixth-place KIA Tigers in a three-game series at KT Wiz Park in Suwon. KIA and KT have entrusted their starting rotations to Lee Yi-ri and Uhm Sang-baek, respectively. It will be interesting to see if Uhm Sang-baek, who has won his last four games in a row, can once again become the ‘win fairy’.

The 9th-ranked Samsung Lions and the 8th-ranked Hanwha Eagles will play a three-game series at Daejeon HWA Life Eagles Park. David Buchanan and Tae Yang Lee will start the first game of the series. While Buchanan is expected to be favored in the starting matchup, Lee Tae-yang is also trusted by the team, having earned a five-inning, one-run start against the Changwon NC Dinos in his previous outing on April 16.

At SSG Landers Field in Incheon, the NC Dinos and SSG Landers will host a three-game series, with Choi Sung-young and Moon Seung-won taking the mound. At Seoul’s Gocheok SkyDome, the only one of the five venues that doesn’t have to worry about rain, Doosan Bears and Kiwoom Heroes will start Raul Alcantara and Kim Sun-ki, respectively, to start the series.
