Baekjun Kim wins the 2nd KPGA Challenge Tour competition

Kim Baek-jun took the top spot in the 2nd competition (total prize money of 100 million won) of the Challenge Tour, the second division of the Korea Professional Golf (KPGA) tour.

Kim Baek-Jun recorded a 3-under par 69 in the second round on the last day of the tournament held at Solago CC Lago Course (par 72, 7,290 yards) in Taean, Chungcheongnam-do on the 29th.

Kim Baek-jun, who hit a final total of 9 under par 135 strokes, beat second-place amateur Kim Hyun-wook by one stroke. The winning prize is 20 million won.

Baekjun Kim, a former member of the national team, took second place at the 2021 KPGA Tour SK Telecom Open.

He won once in the second division tour last year and plans to play in the KPGA regular tour this year.

Baekjun Kim expressed his aspirations, saying, “As this is my debut season on the KPGA Tour, I am preparing for the opening match in April with excitement. If I get the chance, I want to win the Rookie of the Year award and win.” 고스톱
