Inside and outside the Football Association, names such as soccer commentator Lee Young-pyo, Football Association Technology Development Committee Chairman Lee Im-saeng, and Football Association Competition Committee Chairman Jeong Hae-seong are being discussed as candidates for the Chairman of the Power Strengthening Committee.
Michael Müller (Germany), who chaired the Power Strengthening Committee in January of last year, appointed Coach Klinsmann, but Korea was eliminated by Jordan in the semifinals of the 2023 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup, which Korea had set as its goal of winning.
