Sunchang-gun inaugurated the organizing committee for the 61st Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province People’s Sports Games to be held in September on the 30th and began preparations in earnest.
The organizing committee inauguration ceremony was held in the order of awarding a commission, reporting on the preparation status, reading a resolution, and performing wishes for success. The organizing committee is composed of 35 members, including the heads of local institutions and social organizations, cultural and artistic figures, and civilians, under the chairmanship of Choi Young-il, to ensure the success of the Games.
“Let’s do our best to make the first Jeollanam-do Games to be held in Sunchang after the establishment of Jeollanam-do a festival for 1.8 million people,” said Choi Young-il, who chairs the organizing committee, which is responsible for leading cooperation in areas such as competition, transportation, safety, public relations, and volunteerism. The event will be held in Sunchang for the first time in 10 years from September 6-8, followed by the 18th Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Para Sports Games from 슬롯게이밍 September 27-29.
