The Korean Basketball League (KBL) announced today that it is accepting applications for the 2024 Talent Search Program through its unified website The program is open to males between the ages of 10 and 15 who are not registered with the Korea Basketball Association. Players must pass the height criteria of 165 centimeters for 10-year-olds, 175 centimeters for 11-year-olds, 180 centimeters for 12-year-olds, 185 centimeters for 13-year-olds, 190 centimeters for 14-year-olds and 195 centimeters for 15-year-olds, and register with the KBA within the next three months.
Selected players will receive training support worth 1 million won upon registration, and will also receive financial support such as training supplies and medical expenses worth 1.8 million won per year for three years from the year after registration.The KBL has been implementing the Tall Player Discovery Program since 2007 to discover promising players and expand the base of basketball.
The program has produced 22 professional basketball players, including Song Kyo-chang (KCC), Yang Hong-seok (LG), and Ha Yun-ki (KT), and 57 elite players, including Eddie Daniel (Yongsan High), Kim Sung-hoon, and 온라인카지노 Yoon Hyun-sung (Gyeongbok High).
