No. 128-ranked Stryker defeats Tsitsipas
Reaches first three rounds of US Open

Tsitsipas once again suffered from the US Open jinx as she dropped the match with just two match points remaining. The 2021 French Open and this year’s Australian Open runner-up has never reached the round of 16 at the US Open.
World No. 5 Kasper Lund (25-NOR) also packed it in on the day, falling 2-3 (4-6, 7-5, 2-6, 6-0, 2-6) to Zhang Zhizhen (27-China-67).
