Barcelona and Real Madrid legends are coming together in Tokyo.
Andres Iniesta, 40, retired from playing last October. Iniesta, who broke into Barcelona’s first team in 2002, was the club’s most iconic player for 15 years until his contract expired in 2018. He was one of the best partners with 바카라사이트 Lionel Messi (37, Inter Miami).
Iniesta won 29 major trophies with Barcelona, including nine La Liga titles, six Copa del Rey titles, five Supercopa de España titles, four UEFA Champions League titles, and three FIFA Club World Cup titles.
Iniesta has also been capped 131 times by the Spanish national team. He also won the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, Euro 2008, and Euro 2012. Iniesta made headlines in 2018 when he left Barcelona to join Vissel Kobe (Japan) in a surprise move. In 2023, he played for Emirates Club in the United Arab Emirates.
Iniesta’s farewell match will be held in Tokyo this December. The match, dubbed El Clasico in Tokyo, will bring together the stars of Barcelona and Real Madrid in their prime to face off in a rivalry match.
Iniesta will be joined by Luis Figo, Xavi Hernández, Rivaldo, Javier Mascherano, Roberto Carlos, Iker Casillas, and other heroes of the reverse. It will also be interesting to see which team the traitorous Figo, who betrayed Barcelona and moved to Real, will play for.
VIP tickets for the match are said to cost a whopping 300,000 yen (about $2.74 million). First-floor seats are 24,000 yen (about $220). Standing room tickets are also extremely popular, costing as much as 5,500 yen.
